The Spadina Streetcar

  1. Any time I push a lady's behind I tend to get thumped. It's funny how you can change the way you look at labels. We have a Foster daughter who's been with us since January. She was living in a homeless shelter. My brother is a photographer and has a shirt that says "I shoot homeless people."

With Catie living with us we've re-adjusted our homeless people jokes.

  2. Good point! Absolutely.

I just want to be clear that I wasn't so much joking as transcribing. 9:30 a.m., Friday. Spadina Streetcar, at about Dundas Street.

  3. That is what I always love about you, Tonia. Your work is almost entirely taking stuff we all see every day and making a beautiful piece of art from it.

I just wish I had the imagination you do. I look at stuff and it goes in one eye and out the other. The brain filters all the good stuff out. And dumps it in the gutter... where the rest of my mind normally resides.

    Don't change. Please.
